Luxury Car Maker Recalling Thousands of Vehicles for Potentially Deadly Reason

One of the most recognizable car manufacturers has made a major announcement. According to reports, Porsche has issued a massive recall that will impact thousands of customers.

The company has announced that they are issuing two recalls. Drivers are suffering from a lot more inconvenience because of the defective discoveries.

“One recall affects 2017-2019 Cayenne SUVs/Panamera sedans. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), drivers may not receive the warnings they expected when brake pads become worn out. This could put them at risk of being in a crash. Dealers will correct the problem by updating the instrument cluster software,” reported Consumer Reports.

The recall has not caused any injuries or deaths. The company is currently informing all owners about the serious problems facing their vehicles.

Porsche is recalling 14,388 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman sports vehicles. A piece of the luggage bracket could come off during a crash, causing fuel leakage. NHTSA reports that a fuel leak was found during a February frontal crash test. Fuel leaks raise the risk of a fire, NHTSA says,” according to the report.
