When actor Luke Perry passed away, fans were surprised to learn that he was engaged. The "Riverdale" actor hadn't announced that he was engaged to Wendy Madison Bauer, reported US Weekly.
"The Beverly Hills, 90210" alum died suddenly at the age of 52 on Monday, March 4. His passing came only five days after he suffered a massive stroke.
Perry never announced his engagement. His representative said in his statement that Perry's fiancée, Bauer, 44, was among the loved ones who surrounded Perry when he died.
It's not clear when the couple started dating, but they walked the red carpet together in April 2017. They looked in love, and they held hands on the red carpet.
Bauer is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the Los Angeles area. She has a private practice, and she specializes in working with people who suffer from anxiety.
She also studied political science, government, and English literature at Louisiana State University. She has also worked as an actress, making brief appearances in TV shows including The Mentalist, House, and Crash.
This would have been Perry's second marriage. He has two children Jack, 21, and Sophie, 18, with his ex-wife Minnie Sharp. The couple was married from 1993 to 2003.
Please pray for Perry's children, ex-wife, and fiancée as they mourn his passing. This is such a sudden loss for them all.
