It has been roughly five months since news of the 2019 college admissions scandal, also known as Operation Varsity Blues, broke to the public. The shocking scandal involved a number of prestigious universities and 50+ elite people, including actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli who pleaded not guilty to all charges.

After facing heat from fans for their involvement in the scandal, their family went off the grid. Daughters and influencers Olivia Jade Giannulli, 19, and Isabella Rose Giannulli, 20, even stopped posting on social media amidst their parents’ legal troubles.

However, the two young women broke their social media silence on July 29th for a special occasion — their mom’s birthday. This is the first time they have posted since the college admissions scandal in March, reported ABC News.

Loughlin’s daughters wished their mother, who turned 55 on July 28th, a happy birthday on Instagram. Olivia shared an old photo of her and Loughlin when she was a baby, while Bella posted a recent black-and-white picture.

“One day late. Happy birthday. I love you so much,” wrote Olivia.

“Happy birthday mama. I love you,” her sister added.

The legal details of Loughlin and her husband’s involvement in the scandal are still developing. Stay tuned!
