Over the last several days, the nation has been watching as Hurricane Michael inches its way toward the U.S. The storm was upgraded to a Category 4 Hurricane.
According to Newsweek, the storm is expected to produce 13-foot surges and at least a foot of rain. As of Wednesday morning, Michael was about 140 miles away from Panama City and 130 miles away from Apalachicola.
Earlier this week, Florida Governor Rick Scott issued several evacuation orders. Now, he says that it is too late to evacuate. The governor said that Hurricane Michael is the worst storm to hit the Florida Panhandle in a century.
On Wednesday, October 10, Franklin Graham asked that everyone prays for the people who will be affected by this potentially life-threatening storm.
