A video of a woman sharing her botched lip injections results claiming she looked like a character from “Monsters, Inc.” has been making its way throughout TikTok. The video uploaded by Yuuuuuuuuuur already has over 2.5 million views and more that 8,000 comments from interested TikTok users.
Kailee Jones, 23, spoke out to the media about her experience after receiving lip injections. She said, “the pictures don’t even really show how big they were — it was crazy.”
Kailee said that she had fillers for the first time in November. According to the young woman’s explanation, she got them because her lips were too small in comparison to the rest of the face.

After the procedure, which involved a 1-milliliter injection on her bottom and top lips, the consultants stated that her lips began swelling within an hour. She claimed this was an allergic reaction. She tried to stop the swelling by using ice, but it didn’t work.
“Once it hit, after an hour or two they were really big, and then it was 48 hours of them being that big,” Kailee continued. According to reports, the TikToker was unable speak or drink properly.
“I would say they were eight times the size of my normal lips; it was unreal… I looked like the ‘Monsters, Inc.’ character,” she added.
She continued, “I was scared it was going to go to my throat, which is what doctors said it could do, and my throat could close, basically. That was my biggest fear and then also just thinking ‘Are they stuck like this?’ “
Doctors prescribed Jones oral steroids, which caused the swelling to subside within three days.
