Rapper Lil Xan was released from the psych ward, and is now in rehab
Lil Xan was admitted to the hospital and placed on a psychiatric stay weeks after he accused his former boss of supplying him illegal drugs.

Xan posted on Instagram that he checked himself into a hospital under a 5150 hold. The 5150 code refers “to the number of the section in the Welfare and Institutions Code which allows an adult suffering from a mental health crisis to be voluntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization because of threat of harm to others or being severely disabled,” per OCDE.us.
“CRAZY EVER SINCE I SPOKE OUT AGAINST THE INDUSTRY SO MANY FALSE NARRATIVE VIDEOS ABOUT ME START SURFACING ON THE INTERNET LIKE WILDFIRE,” Xan said. “IF YOU THINK IM BROKE I ASK YOU TO DIG DEEPER AND DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH THEN BELIEVE A STUPID YOUTUBE VIDEO,” he wrote.
“IM LIVING VERY VERY COMFORTABLY AND ASK THE PEOPLE SPEAKING LIES ABOUT ME TO PLEASE STOP AS ITS AFFECTING MY MENTAL HEALTH.”
