Lil Nas X Reveals He Had ‘So Much Anxiety’ When People Learned He Once Ran A Nicki Minaj Fan Account: This Is Going To Ruin Everything For Me

Lil Nas XThe rapper knows how to get people moving!  It’s not uncommon for the 22-year-old rapper to trend for his musical performances or online actions. Despite seemingly being confident in who he is now, that wasn’t always the case for Lil Nas X.

As previously reported, last yea Lil Nas XThe confession that he once lied to be a supporter of a fellow rap star made him the subject of headlines Nicki Minaj, 38. When asked by a fan of the ‘Super Base’ rapper via Twitter why he lied, Lil Nas X replied,

“I didn’t want people to know i was a gay tbh”

?? Nicki MinajThis does not make one gay. Lil Nas XHe replied and confirmed that he had once run a popular Twitter page dedicated to the subject. Nicki Minaj. He wrote,

“it don’t but people will assume if you had an entire fan page dedicated to nicki u are gay. and the rap/music industry ain’t exactly built or accepting of gay men yet.”

In a recent interview, Lil Nas X The topic was discussed NickiHe shared a fan account that he used to run and said that people discovering his identity gave him anxiety. He said,

“It was so much anxiety. It was almost like I felt like I was in a trap. And I’m going to die soon. It was darker than what people saw in my head. And it was also like, D*mn, I’ve been working hard, like not sleeping, and I just made it to the music industry, and this is going to ruin everything for me.”

When asked to clarify whether he meant to be gay, or running a company, he said that he meant it. NickiHe stated that fan account was going towards his career.

“Both. Mainly because I’m gay. That was the main thing I was most afraid of.”

He also shared that he hopes to have NickiAlong with Drake, on his debut album ‘Montero,’ but unfortunately, things didn’t work out that way.

“I don’t usually ask for features like that. But for every feature I did ask for on this album, like, every single one of them worked…besides Drake and Nicki.”

He continued,

“??I didn’t ask them directly. I wanted Nicki on ‘Industry Baby,’ and I wanted Drake on ‘Dolla Sign Slime,’ with Megan [Thee Stallion]. But, you know, I feel like everything always works out. Jack Harlow ended being, like, your best option. I’m not sure how comfortable Nicki would have felt with that video or whatnot.”
