Fans are ecstatic after learning that famous American singer Letoya Luckett is pregnant with her first child! Luckett is expecting a baby sometime in 2018 with husband (m. 2017) Tommicus Walker — a famed entrepreneur. This is Walker's second child; he currently has a 6-year-old daughter named Madison.
Luckett is best-known for being an original member of R&B group “Destiny’s Child,” where she won several awards alongside Beyonce Knowles, LaTavia Roberson, and Kelly Rowland. She later went solo and made top music charts with her hit song, “Torn.”
The singer is also widely recognized for being a proud sharer of her Christian faith. In many of her social media posts, the singer acknowledges God at work in her blessed life.
Earlier this year, Luckett shared a sweet post about God’s role with her stepdaughter. In the post, the former “Destiny’s Child” member revealed that she always dreamed of having a daughter named Madison and was “almost brought to tears [when she found out her name] because she knew God heard her.”
Luckett and Madison clearly have a very close and special bond. To announce their pregnancy, Luckett and her husband made a video including young Madison.
"Hi, my name is Madison Walker and I know something you don’t know! I think I’ll give you a hint. I’m going to sing you a song. Daddy and Ms. Toya sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Eww! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby!" Madison announced with joy.
