Leonardo DiCaprio’s friendship with Tobey Maguire has seemingly been his longest relationship thus far.
The buds met as little one actors within the ’80s whereas they have been auditioning for a similar roles. DiCaprio revealed he was decided to make Maguire his good friend when he noticed him on the road as DiCaprio and his mother drove by.
“I actually jumped out of the automotive,” DiCaprio advised Esquire in 2014. “I used to be like, ‘Tobey! Tobey! Hey! Hey!’ And he was like, ‘Oh, yeah — I do know you. You’re … that man.’ However I simply made him my pal. After I need somebody to be my good friend, I simply make them my good friend.”
Maguire and Dicaprio’s connection blossomed as they bonded over shared experiences within the business. A long time later, the twosome stay shut mates who’ve each starred in motion pictures collectively and brought holidays collectively.
