LeBron James is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time! The young man from Ohio has conquered the NBA and is now looking to give back to his hometown.

"This is a huge moment, not only in my life, my family's life, and my foundation but for these kids and the whole city of Akron," James said Monday.

James has decided to use some of his fortune to give back to kids in Akron, Ohio who do not have great opportunities. He is opening a new school!

"His LeBron James Family Foundation partnered with Akron Public Schools to design the school for public school students in the area who come from difficult circumstances. It will initially open its doors to 240 third- and fourth-grade students, and will add first- and second-grade classes in 2019. The school plans to offer first through eighth-grade classes by 2022," reported CBS News.

When asked about the school, James said he was very nervous! It is wonderful to see him giving back and remembering the kids who are in Akron, just like he was!

"The jitters before the first day of school are real right now!!! Tomorrow is going to be one of the greatest moments (if not the greatest) of my life when we open the #IPROMISE School," James said on Twitter.
