Country singer LeAnn Rimes is in deep mourning after she lost someone close to her. She shared the news after she rescheduled three performances, reported Country Rebel.
She made the announcement on Twitter, just six hours before she was supposed to take the stage in Newton, New Jersey. She shared the sad news that she had lost her dog Eveie in two tearful videos.
A few hours after postponing the shows, Rimes tweeted, “I am am honestly overwhelmed at the outpouring of kindness and love sent our way. Our hearts are so broken right now.”
“This is one of the most difficult, heartbroken moments our whole family has ever experienced,” she captioned a series of photos on Instagram.
In the post, she also revealed the tragic circumstance of her dogs death. She revealed that the dog was attacked in front of them by a coyote.
“Eddie, the boys and myself are left with such a hole in our family and in our hearts. She was our daughter, our boy’s best friend. We’ve taken turns crying and consoling for a day and a half now and it’s far from over,” she said.
Later, she went back to social media to thank her friends and fans for their outreach. They've been helping her with her mourning in any way that they can.
“Hey you guys, I just want to say thank you for all your kindness. If any good thing has come out of this situation, it’s that we really know how much we’re loved, and we’re so grateful, so thank you very much,” she said through tears.
Please join us in praying for Rimes and her family as they mourn their loss. This is a hard time for them all.
