Conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham made headlines when she mocked young anti-gun activist David Hogg. In response, Hogg got his team of followers to pressure the biggest sponsors of “The Ingraham Angle” show to boycott her and sink her into financial ruin.
But with numerous companies having abandoned her, Ingraham is now thanking Hogg for his boycott after a new report came out.
Ingraham is one of the most popular female talk show hosts in America, but companies like Hulu, Office Depot, Honda, Red Lobster, and Johnson & Johnson started dropping sponsorship of her show after she made fun of Hogg for complaining about colleges not accepting him.
Day after day, liberal news outlets announced with glee which new company had dropped Ingraham. But then, one of the 27 came back.
After initially parting ways, Ace Hardware announced they that would advertise on Ingraham’s show because they didn’t feel doing so meant that they supported everything she said. Plus, many of Ingraham’s viewers were growing upset with companies that were jumping ship.
Now “The Ingraham Angle’s” newest ratings have come out. According to the Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, her viewership is up 20 percent now compared to right before the boycott began at the end of March.
