Fans of Tim Allen are in for a big treat! The famous actor is all set to return to television on his hit show!
The "Last Man Standing" sitcom became widely popular recently with Tim Allen starring as the conservative and outspoken father. However, after some heavy criticism from the left, including some networks, it was abruptly canceled.
"The series was canceled last year after six seasons on ABC—much to Allen’s chagrin—but now it will find new life, with the same original cast," wrote Vanity Fair.
Now, there is some major news! The show is officially returning for the 2018-2019 season! Allen recently commented on his excitant for the news.
“Excited?” Allen said in Fox’s press release. “Team LMS was in the sixth inning, ahead by four runs, stands were packed and then for no reason, they call off the game. It leaves you sitting in the dugout, holding a bat and puzzled. Now we get the news from Fox that it’s time to get back out on that diamond—hell yes, I’m excited!”
“There is nothing more dangerous, especially in this climate, than a funny, likable conservative character,” Allen told Norm Macdonald last fall. “He’s mitigated by a family of women who had a difference of opinions, but the guy was a likable guy.”
