Some tragic news was reported this week out of Clinton, Indiana. Ken Kercheval, a veteran actor who spent 14 seasons on a hit primetime soap opera, passed away.
Ken acted as Cliff Barnes on the long-running show "Dallas." His infamous feud with JR was one of the highlights of the show. J.R. Ewing and Cliff Barnes were the only characters to appear on the entirety of the show.
Prior to that, Ken Kercheval spent his career performing on Broadway and acting on other movies and TV shows.
Recently, a local paper falsely reported that Ken had passed away. Later, they revealed that it had been a rumor. However, after days of confusion, the news has been confirmed that he has indeed passed away at the age of 83.
One of Ken Kercheval's representatives took to social media to pay a tribute.
She wrote, "Ken was one of a kind. Safe journey home...remembering Ken- great actor, loved women, very particular about his clothes, always prepared, loved the stage as well as film and TV. We had a bumpy road but Ken was always there...steady as a rock! He left a giant footprint for everyone to enjoy..."
