A tragic situation recently emerged from the state of Georgia. A 28-year-old rising star, Kelsey Quayle, was involved in a freak accident that occurred on her way to work.

According to Fox News, Quayle, an aspiring model, was driving to a local dentist’s office for her shift on Monday, October 8th. While on the road, Quayle was shot in the neck, which resulted in a multi-vehicle crash.

She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a bullet in her neck. Sadly, the Georgia model suffered “catastrophic” brain damage.

The shooter, unfortunately, was not immediately identified. There are still many missing pieces, but local authorities believe the shooting could have been a case of “road rage” or “cross-fire.”

Family members reportedly pulled her off of life support a few days after the accident. On a GoFundMe page, Quayle’s sister confirmed that her older sibling is now “happy up in heaven with God” and the family is raising funds for a funeral.

“Please pray for our family, we miss you so much and love you so much Kelsey...Life won't be the same without you...I can't wait to see you again one day.. Rest in peace,” her little sister wrote.

An investigation regarding this case is ongoing. This story is developing and will be updated if more information is released to the public.

Please keep Quayle’s friends and family in your prayers during this time. May God bring healing, peace, and comfort.
