In 2017, comedian Kathy Griffin made national headlines for posting a controversial photo of her holding President Trump’s decapitated head. After being blacklisted by the media industry, she begged for forgiveness and removed the photo.
However, since the controversy simmered down, Griffin has bashed the President on numerous occasions. Her latest remarks came on Monday, April 30th during her appearance as a guest on “The View.”
On the show, she retracted her original apology to Trump, and additionally, blasted the President and his family — again.
“Yeah, I take the apology back,” she said. “F--- him. And Don Jr. and Eric, or as I call them Eddie Munster and Date Rape. I’m not holding back on this family. This president is different and I have been through the mill and so now I’m back on the road."
Griffin explained that she only made the apology statement because she felt bad about offending others who had a connection with loved ones being murdered by terrorists; the public apology had nothing to do with Trump.
Unfortunately, “The View’s” conservative voice Meghan McCain was not present during Griffin’s appearance. Ana Navarro from CNN sat in McCain’s chair during this taping.
