Kanye West Submits ‘Donda’ & Hurricane’ For Grammy Nominations

Kanye WestHe is looking to expand his Grammy collection.

However Kanye West, or ‘Ye‘ urinated on his Grammy last year, that didn’t stop the rapper from submitting his 10th studio album, ‘Donda‘ and its single, ‘Hurricane,’ which features The WeekendAnd Lil BabyFor Grammy consideration:

Universal RecordsToday (Oct. 22), a press release was issued naming the recipients. Album of the yearAnd Record of the YearAs the following categories Kanye WestThe prestigious award is being sought by the applicant.

West’s submission is a surprise to many due to the Chi-town rapper’s controversial relationship with the music industry. The golden trophy was also urinated on by the rapper. YeAlso, he went on a rant regarding his label, comparing that industry to slavery.

He wrote this tweet:

“I need to see everybody’s contract at Universal and Sony. I’m not gonna watch my people be enslaved. I’m willing to put my life on the line for my family. The NBA and the music industry are modern slave ships. Im the new Moses.”

“We’ve gotten comfortable with not having what we deserve … they allow us to have a little money from touring get some gold chains some alcohol some girls and fake numbers that feed our egos … but we don’t own our masters”
