Justin Bieber Says The Devil Has No Power Over Him Because He Knows God

Justin Bieber has been in his share of trouble: vandalism, drag racing, and drugs to just name a few. But recently, it’s seemed like he’s turned over a new leaf. In 2015, he was baptized by Carl Lentz, pastor of Hillsong Church in NYC.

Today, he posted a video of himself singing with a Hillsong song playing in the background. He captioned the video.

“Let the devil know NOT TODAY! The devil has no power when you know the LIVING God! His name is JESUS!! Why worry when you can worship.”

Earlier in June, he also posted that he feels like he’s wasted part of his life not because he wasn’t working to improve himself. "I look back at a lot of things in my life, mistakes, insecurities, and although I have felt I've wasted a lot of time it also makes me want to be better faster! For me personally I want to work every day to be BETTER AT 70."

His pastor, Lentz, says Bieber’s growing every day. "His relationship with Jesus is changing his life daily. It is one of those things where you never really get it, it takes a while to keep growing as a person…Every day he is getting older, and with each chapter comes new growth,” reports CBN.

Bieber showed his change at a concert in Manchester, UK, last month. He told the gathered crowd—referring to the attack at an Arianna Grande concert,

"God is good in the midst of the darkness, God is good in the midst of the evil, God is in the midst no matter what is happening in the world God is in the midst, and he loves you and he's here for you.”

Good for Justin Bieber—for turning his life around and giving it over to God. Pray that he’s able to stay on the path of righteousness.
