Pop star Justin Bieber says that Jesus Christ is his Savior, and now he’s selling a Christian painting he’s created in order to raise money for victims of a recent disaster.

The Canadian-born singer and songwriter who captured the hearts of countless young girls, was once named the world’s third most powerful celebrity by Forbes, and has sold more albums than most music artists is now praising God regularly on his social media accounts.

An attendee of the Hillsong NYC church, 23-year-old Bieber is reportedly being mentored by Pastor Carl Lentz and decided that he wanted to share his faith while also raising money for those who have lost their homes in the recent southern California fires.

While most of the other destructive fires in the region have been extinguished, the Thomas Fire north of Los Angeles has not been completely contained as of Wednesday, according to Cal Fire. Over a thousand structures have been destroyed, many of them homes. The burn area covers about 440 square miles.

On Instagram this weekend, Bieber posted a photo of his painting entitled “Calvary” and said all proceeds from its sale would go to the wildfires in California.

Bieber reportedly attends church regularly, promotes his friend’s Bible study, and is vocal about wanting others to find the same faith in Jesus that he has.
