The world has been anxiously waiting for news about Melania Trump. The First Lady recently underwent a medical procedure to treat a benign mass in one of her kidneys.
Mrs. Trump was hospitalized for a few days following the procedure. Although she has returned to the White House, she has yet to really start back up with her agenda as First Lady. She undoubtedly needs time to recover from the tough ordeal.
Now, President Trump just delivered some sad news about Melania. Although she is said to be doing well and getting better, she will not be able to attend the G-7 summit in Canada this weekend. President Trump told reporters that Melania is not supposed to fly for a month due to the operation.
"President Trump said Friday morning that first lady Melania Trump wanted to attend the G-7 summit taking place this weekend in Quebec, but the 'doctors say' she cannot fly for a month due to a recent operation. 'She had a big operation,' he added. 'That was close to a four-hour operation,'" he said.
He also went on to criticize all of the fake news media sites for inaccurately reporting about his wife. Although she did have a major operation and is still recovering, she is doing well and is looking forward to getting back to work as the First Lady.
“The Fake News Media has been so unfair, and vicious, to my wife and our great First Lady, Melania. During her recovery from surgery, they reported everything from near death, to a facelift, to left the W.H. (and me) for N.Y. or Virginia, to abuse. All Fake, she is doing really well!” he posted.
