A breaking news story is being reported today after Brett Kavanaugh's former friend released a new letter filled with details. Mark Judge, the man Dr. Ford says was also in the room when Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her, has been relatively silent until now.
He has maintained a low profile and simply told the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee that he does not recall the allegations Ford has made. He also said that due to his health and his past experiences with addiction and anxiety, that he prefers to not come forward publicly in front of a formal committee.
Now, since the hearing this afternoon that voted in favor of sending Judge Kavanaugh's nomination to the Senate floor pending an FBI investigation, Mark Judge is speaking up. He revealed shocking new information in a new detailed letter.
Judge says he will also cooperate fully with law enforcement officials, provided he can do so confidentially.
“I will cooperate with any law enforcement agency that is assigned to confidentially investigate these allegations,” Judge wrote in a letter addressed to Senate Judiciary Chairman Grassley and ranking member Feinstein, reported The Daily Caller.
“As I stated in my attorney, Barbara Van Gelder’s September 18, 2018, letter, I did not ask to be involved in this matter nor did anyone ask me to be involved,” Judge wrote in a letter released Thursday evening. “We have told the Committee that I do not want to comment about these events publicly.”
