Just As The Republicans Predicted: Two Refugees In The U.S. Are Facing Terror Charges

Liberals and Democrats have turned the refugee crisis into a rallying cry for their campaigns and constituents.  They’ve labeled all who oppose mass refugee resettlement in the United States as “Islamophobes” or “bigots”.  However, two new situations have arisen that show that Republicans and Conservatives may have been right all along.

Two Iraqi refugees who came to the U.S. through Syria are facing terror-related charges.  According to Fox News, Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab of Sacramento, California expressed desire to travel to Syria and fight with terrorist organizations.  He was “eager to see blood” and lied to government investigators about it.

Halfway across the country in Houston, authorities arrested Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan.  He was charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS and lying to investigators about it.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott pointed to the cases as reasons the government needs to be careful to whom they let in.  “This is precisely why I called for a halt to refugees entering the U.S. from countries substantially controlled by terrorists,” Abbott said.  “I once again urge the president to halt the resettlement of these refugees in the United States until there is an effective vetting process that will ensure refugees do not compromise the safety of Americans and Texans.”
