Best-Selling Author & Journalist Whose Books Sold 85+ Million Copies Passes Away at Bel Air Home

Best-selling author and journalist Judith Krantz sadly passed away on June 22nd, 2019. News of her passing did not break until a few days later. She was 91 years old at the time of her death.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Krantz died of natural causes at her home in Bel Air. She was reportedly surrounded by close friends, family, and her four dogs when she passed.

The romance author is best-known for her 10 best-selling novels, including “Scruples” and “Princess Daisy,” and her autobiography titled “Sex and Shopping.” Her popular books sold more than 85 million copies in over 50 languages, reported the New York Times.

She also spent 27 years of her life working as a journalist. The writer contributed to well-known publications including Macleans, McCalls, Ladies Home Journal and the Cosmopolitan.

She leaves behind her two sons: Tony and Nicholas. Please keep the family in your prayers as they cope with this difficult loss. Krantz will be greatly missed by her loved ones and dedicated fans!
