Josiah and Lauren Duggar, who exchanged vows in June of 2018, have captured the hearts of fans as they shared their lives on the hit TLC show "Counting On." Now, the young couple is opening up about the recent heartbreak they have been facing.
The couple had hoped to share the exciting news of a baby on the way in the new season of the show. Unfortunately, after finding out Lauren was pregnant shortly after they married, she suffered a miscarriage.
"It really was a hard time for our family, going through all of this right after we got married," Josiah shared. "All of our dreams of getting to see our little one and hold it in our hands were dashed before our eyes."
Four months after they suffered the loss, they decided to share their story with views rather than keep their heartache private. "We really wanted to share our story because a lot of people go through miscarriage, but nobody really talks about it. So we just wanted to let y'all know you're not alone," Lauren said in a video on TLCme.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Duggars as they heal from their loss. Please share your thoughts and prayers as well. In other recent news, nearly 100 children have died after the worlds second-worst Ebola outbreak.
