On Tuesday, February 5, President Trump delivered his annual State of the Union Address. He made his speech after a lot of controversy surrounding the date of the SOTU.

In the midst of the longest shutdown in government history, Speaker Pelosi asked President Trump to push back the date of his SOTU or to present it in writing. The pair went back and forth on the matter for some time, eventually reaching the decision to move it to February 5.

Every year, the First Family has the opportunity to invite some guests of honor to the SOTU. This year, the Trumps invited Joshua Trump, an 11-year-old boy from Delaware.

Joshua’s parents had spoken out about how he had been bullied due to his last name. With First Lady Melania’s campaign being against bullying, they invited Joshua to the special event.

Now, the Internet is going viral over one hilarious moment that occurred at the State of the Union Address. 11-year-old Joshua appeared to fall asleep during the long speech!
