The stars of “Fuller House” have stayed fairly quiet on castmate Lori Loughlin’s involvement in the college admissions scandal. Although Candace Cameron Bure appeared to address the scandal at this year’s Kids Choice Awards and Bob Saget echoed Bure’s remarks of “you love who you love,” no one has responded to the situation directly.
Loughlin’s on-screen husband John Stamos, whom together play the beloved couple of Aunty Becky and Uncle Jesse, hasn’t issued a reply either. However, he did recently share a photo with Loughlin on his Instagram account.
Stamos was harshly criticized after sharing the photo (below). Several fans suggested that Loughlin should have been cropped out of the picture — and shamed Stamos for including her in it. Others admired the actor for supporting his dear friend.
It’s no surprise that Stamos is refusing to remove Loughlin from the picture — literally. Stamos and Loughlin have remained very close friends over the years since their days together on the set of “Full House.” Last Christmas, their families even posed together for “Fake Family” Christmas photos.
In other news related to the college scandal, actress Felicity Huffman officially entered a plea on Monday. Read the details here.
