“Full House” and “Fuller House” fans are ecstatic after hearing the exciting news of one of the cast members having a baby—John Stamos.
Stamos, who plays “Uncle Jesse” on the show, is a first-time dad, but as he puts it, he’s “had a lot of practice.”
54-year-old John Stamos and 31-year-old Caitlin McHugh confirmed to PEOPLE on Wednesday, December 13th that their first child is on the way. The two recently announced their fairytale engagement back in October, but have been together for two wonderful years.
Stamos proposed to his then-girlfriend in Disneyland, starting the beginning phase of their “happily ever after” story. The “Fuller House” actor created a film containing romantic moments from classic Disney movies, ending with a spin-off of the song “Kiss the Girl” from “The Little Mermaid.”
In the final scene, Sebastian told Stamos to “Just ask the girl.”
In the PEOPLE exclusive, Stamos revealed, “We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely. So we said, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should have a family.’”
Apparently, McHugh jokingly suggested having kids before they were married because her fiance “is old.”
Congratulations John Stamos and Caitlin McHugh!
