September 12, 2017Sep 12, 2017

Senator John McCain was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer earlier this year, sparking love and prayers to flow from all parts of the nation and well-wishes from various political leaders. After taking a 4-week recess, McCain’s office recently announced that he would return to the U.S. Senate full-time, but did not originally clarify his health condition after chemotherapy treatments.

Although he was expected to be in good health after chemo since he made such a quick return, people were slightly concerned and continued to pray for him. A new statement was released by McCain’s office on Tuesday, September 12th, going into more detail on his current health condition.

The statement informed the public that he received an MRI the previous day on September 11th. Following the results of the MRI, McCain will reportedly continue chemotherapy treatments at the hospital, but it will not impact his work schedule. Read the full statement below.

McCain also made major headlines in September when he revealed what he wants to be remembered for. The Senator stated that he hopes to be remembered as someone who “honorably served America.”

Please continue to keep John McCain in your prayers. In other breaking news, a television star sadly passed away after battling lung cancer; he was only 68 years old. Please keep his family in your prayers, as well. Thank you!
