The shocking news was just revealed that White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly will be leaving the White House at the end of the year.

On Saturday morning, President Trump revealed the news to reporters on the South Lawn. According to CNN, President Trump and John Kelly are not on speaking terms, causing Kelly’s resignation to be sped up.

According to initial reports, President Trump is already “actively discussing” a replacement plan. CNN noted that one potential replacement could be Nick Ayers, who currently serves as Vice President Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff.

Kelly was initially brought on to Trump’s administration in order to bring order at a time when there was a lot of turnover among White House executives. During the first few months that he was serving in the White House, it seemed that the relationship between Kelly and President Trump was strong.

Several months later, however, several disagreements rose to the forefront of many reports. Although in the summer President Trump asked Kelly to stay for two more years, they are reportedly no longer on speaking terms as of the last few weeks. Now, John Kelly will officially be leaving the White House.
