On Friday, January 11, the heartbreaking news was confirmed that Jo Andres, Steve Buscemi’s wife of over 30 years, has passed away. She was 65-years-old at the time of her death.

According to E! News, no cause of death has been given yet for Jo’s death. She leaves behind her love of over 30 years and her 29-year-old son.

Steve and Jo got married in 1987. Steve Buscemi rose to fame as an actor. He was best known for roles in “The Sopranos,”  “Boardwalk Empire,”  “Fargo,” and “The Big Lebowski.”

Three years after they got married, the couple welcomed their only child, Lucian, into the world. Both Steve and Jo continued with their careers in entertainment.

While Steve acted, Jo made a name for herself through filmmaking and art. In the 1980s, she became known for her “film/dance/light performances,” according to her website.

Steve and Jo would often talk about their relationship and were open about how much love they had for each other. In a 2009 interview, Steve gushed over his wife’s art.

He said that is favorite kind of art was “something by my wife Jo Andres. She paints, she makes films, she has done performance.”

Sadly, Jo has now passed away. Please be praying for both Steve and Lucian during this time as they sort through their grief. Share your prayers here! In other recent news, a legendary Christian singer just lost his wife of 65 years. Please keep him in your prayers as well.
