Jim Jones Denies Alleged Fight With Freddie Gibbs: “Freddie Who? What’s His Name?”

It looks like Jim JonesThe New Year will bring peace and the rapper is trying to avoid drama. The New York rapper kept his beef with rappers under wraps. Freddie Gibbs. During an interview Ebro in the Morning with Laura Stylez and Peter Rosenberg, Jones denied being in a physical altercationWith Gibbs last month. When asked about the alleged incident, Jim Jones said,

“I was not fighting at Prime 112…I’m just telling you, you said it. I just cleared it up… How did we get here?”

As the radio host continued to question the ‘Dipset’ rapper, Jim Jones pretended to have no idea who Freddie Gibbs even was. While laughing, Jones replied,

“Freddie who? What’s his name?… He’s Grammy-nominated? Why would a person that won a grammy want a problem with Capo? I don’t know, it don’t matter. I don’t be in the room with too many Grammy award winners. Shout out to that young man you dig. I wish him nothing but success in all his endeavors inside of this game. Get your bag baby.”

As previously reported, an alleged altercation took place inside of Prime 112 in Miami last month. According to VLAD, the two rappers had scuffle inside of the restaurant. The site reports,

Apparently, the two sides bumped into one another while Jim Jones his crew were leaving and Freddie Gibbs and his team were walking in. Jim initially approached Freddie over some negative things that Gibbs had said about Jim in the past. While Jim was arguing with Freddie, someone from Jim’s crew punched Gibbs in the face. Freddie was then attacked personally by Jim. Freddie’s large bodyguard was also hit and then kicked in the face while he was down.

 

According to reports, it appears Freddie Gibbs Jim Jones have had a long time rivalry stemming from 2014 when the “Big Boss Rabbit” rapper accused the New York rap veteran of being a fake gangster. One of Gibbs’ shows in Brooklyn erupted in gunfire following Jones’ remarks.
