Actress Taken Off Life Support 2 Weeks After Car Crash That Killed Her Parents, Sister

On December 26th of 2017, fans were devastated after a 29-year-old famous Australian actress, Jessica Falkholt, was involved in a deadly car crash. The accident killed both of her parents, her little sister, and the other driver.

Falkholt’s mother and father were found dead at the scene, while the actress and her sister were discovered unconscious. Sadly, her younger sibling passed away a few days later.

Falkholt was best known for her role as Hope Morrison in the popular soap series “Home and Away.” The actress, who was fighting for her life for more than two weeks, was taken off life support on Thursday, January 11th, stated BBC News.

The difficult decision came one day after the other family members in the crash were laid to rest. The funeral service took place in Sydney, Australia on Wednesday, January 10th.

According to New York Daily News, Falkholt was in a coma since the accident occurred. Doctors performed several surgeries in an attempt to save her, but were unsuccessful.

“Home and Away” and several fans released tributes to the former actress via social media.
