He’s never looked better. Jennifer Love HewittShe gave us a rare glimpse into her relationship with her husband Brian Hallisay — with a spooky Halloween twist.
“[I]Just fell in love all over again. 🎃🧡🎃,” the I Know What You Did Last SpringThe 43-year-old star wrote the following via Instagram on Monday October 3. She also included a photo of Hallisay, who was 43, in the kitchen, with his face covered by a jacko-lantern hanging from a ceiling. Hewitt has shared a number of photos of her Halloween decorations via social media over the last week, including a slidehow of the pumpkins that she made in memory of each member.
“This makes my mommy heart so happy because they all get excited. 🎃🧡,” she wrote.
Us WeeklyOnly confirmed that the 9-1-1Star and Hallisay got engaged and are expecting their first child together. “We’re so thrilled and happy to start a family,” Hewitt told UsOne month later, they decided to keep the baby’s sexuality a surprise. “You sort of have these pictures in your mind of what [the baby’s going to look like],” she said. “I’m really excited to see what he or she is going to look like!”
November 2013 UsIt was revealed that the couple had secretly married before they welcomed daughter Autumn. Hallisay and Hewitt welcomed their sons Atticus (June 2015) and Aidan (September 2021).
The Party of FiveAn alum shared her thoughts about motherhood and work balance in an earlier interview. Use in August 2018 that she’s finding it harder to be away from her children than she expected. “My kids handled it so much better,” she joked at the time. “They were like, ‘Get out of here, we’re tired of your face and your stories.’ … There was definitely a moment where I was like, ‘This should feel harder on the people that I love and spent all this time with.’ But it’s what you want, right?”
Hewitt stated that one year later, she felt it was important to show her children the example of a working mother. “I think that’s important to show your children that you are something other than just their parent and it’s been really nice for me to have that experience,” the Client List alum told UsAugust 2018. “I do feel like I’m on a beautiful show for my daughter. My son doesn’t really understand it as much right now, but my daughter really [does].”
She continued, referring back to her work on 9-1-1: “They were studying emergency situations in school the other day and she was like, ‘Oh, if you get in an emergency situation, just call my mommy. She’s not going to help you. She’s going to send someone else to do it,’ and I was like, ‘Thanks a lot, babe.’”
It’s not just Hewitt who is providing a good example of balancing life and work. Hallisay joined The Cast of ‘2018’ in 2018. 9-1-1 to play Jason Bailey — officially making him the Texas native’s husband both and and off screen.
