In recent days, Hollywood has been in the midst of multiple sex scandals, which started with the dozens of women who accused infamous producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault earlier this year. Since several accusers came out in unison against Weinstein, several others in the Hollywood industry have also faced sexual misconduct allegations.
In addition to Weinstein, “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey and “Gossip Girl” actor Ed Westwick are among those who have faced accusations related to sexual harassment. On Monday, November 13th, news broke that actress Elizabeth Perkins named another guilty person in Hollywood.
Perkins is best-known for her roles in “Weeds” and “Big,” but has also starred in “The Flintstones,” “Miracle on the 34th Street,” “Must Love Dogs,” and many others.
Over the weekend, Perkins attended a march to protest sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood, according to PEOPLE. At the rally, she was seen holding up a “#MeToo” sign with the name “James Woods” also written on it.
Woods is an award-winning actor and producer. He has made appearances in “Once Upon a Time in America,” “Casino,” “Best Seller,” and more.
Currently, little details are known. Other media sources have reached out to Perkins and Woods for comment, but neither have yet responded.
However, this is not the first time Woods has been accused of sexual misconduct. Actress Amber Tamblyn, well-known for her main role in “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” movies, said Woods tried to take her and a friend to Vegas when they were only 16. Woods denied this accusation.
