Ivanka stole the spotlight on Wednesday when she presented to her father, President Trump's cabinet. The first daughter looked divine in a pink suit with ruffled detailing.
Ivanka was there to speak on the workers initiative that she promoted on Thursday. For that occasion, Ivanka looked radiant in a robin's egg blue dress.
She wrote on Twitter, "Honored to address the @Cabinet to discuss tomorrow’s Executive Order signing & the launch of the National Council for the American Worker. This public-private sector initiative will create enhanced employment opportunities & ensure greater economic security for all Americans."
According to the Daily Mail, her father commented that she doesn't get her due from the media because her last name is Trump.
"Wow. So if that were Ivanka 'Smith,' the press would say that was totally brilliant," he joked, according to a pool report. "As Ivanka Trump, they’ll say, "Oh, she was okay."
He added to his daughter, "That was really great, unbelievable."
Later that day, also spoke about paid family leave. She joined Senator Rick Santorum, Senator Chris Dodd, and others to encourage bipartisan dissuasions on the topic.
It's Ivanka's hope that they can develop a policy "that supports working families & can garner enough consensus to become law." Ivanka is a working mother of three herself.
Her pale pink ladylike ensemble featured a peplum blazer and a matching pencil skirt with a zipper up the front. All eyes were certainly on Ivanka, who looked every inch the policy maker.
Do you like Ivanka's feminine suit? Melania also wore a suit yesterday, but hers was decidedly more somber—appropriate given the occasion.
