Today is President Trump's 72nd birthday. The president, who was born and raised in Queens, is the oldest president to be elected. The second oldest was Ronald Reagan, who was 69 when he entered office and 78 when he left office.
According to Newsweek, who obtained President Trump's official schedule, the POTUS doesn't have any special plans for his birthday. However, there are rumors that he'll go to Nationals Park in Washington D.C. to catch the congressional baseball game on the evening of his birthday.
However, that doesn't mean he didn't celebrate. When he was in Singapore for the North Korea summit, he was served lobster and birthday cake as an early celebration of his birthday.
While it is Trump's big day, he hasn't put the focus on himself. On Twitter, he's someone else special a happy birthday: the United States Army.
The president, who supports the men and women of the armed forces, wrote, "Happy 243rd Birthday to the @USArmy! Thank you for your bravery, sacrifices, and dedication to the U.S.A. We love you!"
He further showed his patriotism by taking the time to celebrate the fact that June 14th is flag day. He posted a photo of himself standing in front of Americans, flanked by members of the Navy, to give a speech.
He captioned the photo: "Happy #FlagDay" with a flag emoji.
While President Trump hasn't mentioned his birthday on social media, his children Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump all wished their dad a happy birthday. Read their heartfelt messages.
