A horrifying news story has just emerged out of the Middle East. ISIS is said to have captured over 700 people, including Europeans and Americans, during a recent kidnapping raid.

According to reports, the terrorists are planning to execute 10 people every day moving forward. Details about the raid are still coming in. The group is said to be holding the people captive somewhere near the Euphrates River in Syria.

Vladimir Putin has just spoken out about the incident.

"Speaking in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi, Putin added that ISIS was expanding its control in territory controlled by the US and US-backed forces and blasted America for a 'catastrophic' failure. Putin said: 'Islamic State terrorists have delivered ultimatums and made certain demands, threatening to shoot ten people every day. This is just horrible, it is a catastrophe. Some US and European citizens are among the hostages,'" according to The Sun.

At this time, the actual demands from the terrorists are unknown. It is one of the largest kidnappings in the history of ISIS. The captives are said to have previously been in a refugee camp before being taken.

"Although the figure of 700 hostages has not been independently verified, images have emerged appearing to show a militant attack in the region. Pictures show fighters performing ISIS' signature one-fingered salute as they grab the hair of their victims," reported The Sun.

We will bring you more details as this story develops. Please join us in praying for a safe ending to the situation and for all the captives. May God be with them during this horrible time.
