Pneumonia, dehydration, and overheating are what Hillary Clinton is blaming for her collapse outside a 9/11 memorial event in New York Sunday morning, but the UK Daily Mail is casting doubt on that claim.
A video shows Hillary's legs buckling as she's being helped into a van after she left the event in progress. As she's assisted forward, she completely collapses and is caught by aides and Secret Service agents before being pulled into the vehicle.
A while later, after Hillary reappeared from daughter Chelsea's apartment and waved at onlookers, her personal physician released a statement saying that Hillary had been suffering from pneumonia since Friday. What the Daily Mail is pointing out, though, is that Hillary hugged a young girl after leaving the apartment.
Daily Mail writers Thomas Burrows and Daniel Bates pointed out that "Pneumonia is a contagious illness that is spread from person-to-person when small droplets of water that contain the bacteria get into the air and people breathe them in."
They bring into question why Hillary would be putting a girl in danger by hugging her.
Cleveland Clinic chairman of pulmonary medicine Dr. Robert Kotloff was quick to point out that not all forms of pneumonia are contagious, though, according to Fox News. The difference lies in whether the pneumonia is a bacterial or viral infection. The latter is contagious.
Whatever caused the fall, it's proven to be another stumble for Hillary's campaign that has long been plagued by concerns over her physical fitness and her history of lying.
