Floyd Mayweather Mad at Justin Bieber for Focusing on Christ

Justin Bieber has apparently stopped following his pal Floyd Mayweather on Instagram.

Sources connected with Floyd say the boxer continues to be enraged at Justin, according to TMZ.

Justin and Mayweather were often seen near the ring together during Mayweather's fights, but are no longer speaking.

According to TMZ, sources close to both Justin and Floyd tell us the leaders at Hillsong Church have been encouraging Justin to take a hard look at his friends and distance himself from the bad influences in his life.

We're told church leaders didn’t single out Floyd as a bad influence, but Justin decided on his own he needed some distance. TMZ sources say Justin didn't want a clean break from Floyd, he just wanted to "reset boundaries" ... walling himself off from things like Floyd's obsession with strip clubs, according to TMZ.

According to Hollywood Life, Floyd recently had this to say about Justin.

“Justin Bieber is at a point…he’s in a place right now…he’s focused,” Floyd said when asked about his one-time friend. “He’s focused on church. He’s focused on his new team. He’s focused on the Lord and only thing I can do is give him the utmost respect. To each his own. I’m not here to be negative and talk bad anyone. The reason why [is] ’cause I’m blessed way beyond belief. I don’t wanna talk bad about nobody. If I ain’t got nothing positive to say, I got nothing to say at all. The reason why is this: my beef is with Conor McGregor. My beef is not with somebody that’s a pop star. I love Justin Bieber and I’m gonna always wish him nothing but the best.” When he calls Justin a “pop star,” it feels like he’s giving him a little nudge there, after the Biebs’ remarks about his highly anticipated fight.

According to an interview with Complex Magazine in 2015, Bieber said that Jesus was his salvation in the midst of trouble and he wants to live like Jesus.

Justin Bieber also recently changed his Instagram profile image to a picture of himself and his Pastor Judah Smith from the City Church.

We applaud Justin for focusing on Christ and putting distractions aside.
