On Friday, the 2018 Winter Olympics officially launched in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Hundreds of the best athletes from around the world are competing for the coveted gold medal, and thousands of fans are watching in anticipation.

On Monday, the United States added another gold medal to their count. 17-year-old snowboard prodigy, Chloe Kim, won the women’s halfpipe.

Kim made her debut in the Olympics with an outstanding score, beating all of her competitors by over 8 points. Her highest score was a 98.25, a nearly perfect score.

After her win, the Internet swooned over Kim. The 17-year-old kept it real on her Twitter account, talking about how hungry she was.
