LeBron James is arguably one of the most famous athletes in the world. His decisions on the court have earned him a reputation as a fierce competitor and talented hoopster. But it’s his decisions off the court that will truly earn him a place in the annals of society.

On Monday, LeBron opened a new school in Akron, Ohio for at-risk kids, called the I Promise School. It is unique in how it features an on-site food bank, gives students a bike, and provides college tuition for graduates.

The institute will provide the initial 240 third and fourth graders who attend with free meals and uniforms. In subsequent years, the grades will add second and fifth grades, then first and sixth grades, etc.

For LeBron, his accolades don’t compare to opening this school, which he ranks as his greatest accomplishment next to marrying his wife, having his children, and taking care of his mother, according to The Score

Persons took to the internet to show their support for LeBron and his charitable cause.
