A police chief’s video of himself singing the hit song “I Can Only Imagine” has gone viral. As of Monday, over 50 million people have seen it, and that number is going up.

Hollywood, Alabama, Police Chief Jason Hepler lip-synced the song as part of the K9s4Cops’ Lip Sync Battle initiative, according to Christian Headlines. Hepler chose MercyMe’s “I Can Only Imagine,” the song that inspired the movie of the same name.

The song holds a special place on many peoples’ hearts, and for Hepler as well.

“‘I Can Only Imagine’ is a song that has been there for me in some of my darkest hours, when I was at the lowest points whether caused by bad decisions or because of things I was dealing with seeing from work, this song would be my go to when I needed some uplifting," Hepler said in a news release.

As part of the challenge, his dog, K9 Fox is part of the video.

"K9 Fox is an amazing partner, pretty much his entire life has been of service.," Hepler said. "He has been an instrumental part of our organization, [and] hundreds of pounds of drugs are off the streets along with thousands of dollars in drug money.”

Here’s the video:
