Over a eight-year period (2014-2021), London consistently ranks among the top three easiest places for planning permission approval with a 98.7% annual average approval rate. The Borough of Copeland (96.4%), Isles of Scilly (96.5%), Richmondshire (95.5%), and Wigan (95.4) are all closely followed as they are the authorities where planning permission requests will be approved.

Molden, on the other hand, was the most difficult place to obtain planning. It received 40.4% more requests than any other location. Harrow, Enfield, Hillingdon and Enfield were also high up on the list, with almost 40% of all applications denied there.
