The news of thousands of migrants heading for the southern United States border has been a hot topic in recent weeks. Many people are divided on what actions the government should take regarding the immigrants seeking entry into America.

Now, the White House has dropped a major bomb on the group. They announced on Thursday that any of the migrants who illegally enter the U.S. will not be able to claim asylum. The announcement is a huge move by the Trump Administration.

"Consistent with our immigration laws, the President has the broad authority to suspend or restrict the entry of aliens into the United States if he determines it to be in the national interest to do so," acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said in a joint statement. "Our asylum system is overwhelmed with too many meritless asylum claims from aliens who place a tremendous burden on our resources, preventing us from being able to expeditiously grant asylum to those who truly deserve it. Today, we are using the authority granted to us by Congress to bar aliens who violate a Presidential suspension of entry or other restriction from asylum eligibility."

There are allegedly 3,000 immigrants who have already arrived at the border in Tijuana, Mexico. Now, insiders are revealing that some of the migrants may be planning their biggest attack on the border yet. Sources within the caravan say many migrants are potentially planning to storm the border at the exact same time in an effort to cross into the United States.

"Some members of the migrant caravan, who have spent the past month traveling from Central America through Mexico to reach the U.S. border, are talking about crossing the border en masse as a way to provoke the Trump administration, an aid group has claimed," reported Fox News.

Officials from Tijuana have since responded to the claim of a mass stampede.

"A human stampede would be an immediate provocation to the U.S.,” said Manuel Monárrez, a Tijuana councilman, told Telemundo. “And justify [President] Donald Trump to impact the binational dynamics of the economy.”
