The former owner of a famous casino has just passed away. According to reports, Bruce Deifik has died. He was only 64-years-old.

Bruce died in a single-vehicle crash in Denver, Colorado. He was returning home after attending a baseball game in the area. At this time, no one else was said to be injured in the wreck.

Bruce is best known for having lost $70 million on the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City. He was supposed to attend a major hearing this week regarding the allegations against him.

"He was also facing a hearing Wednesday in Atlantic City concerning whether he would lose his casino license over allegations of sexual harassment by female employees," reported Page Six.

Bruce bought the casino and reopened it in 2018. The casino was estimated to be worth around $200 million at the time. In the months that passed following the grand opening, the business flopped. It ranked last out of all the casinos in town in regards to gambling revenue.

The spokesperson for the casino has since issued a statement on Burce's passing.

“The Ocean family is grateful for Bruce having the vision to reopen this beautiful oceanfront property and employing over 3,000 members of our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
