On Saturday morning, May 18th, a shooting occurred just minutes away for Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. At least seven people were shot and injured in the incident.
All victims were transported to a nearby hospital. According to CNN, three of the injured suffered life-threatening wounds, while the other four did not have any serious injuries. As of 11:30 AM ET, no deaths have been reported.
The identities of the victims were not immediately released. However, it is known that the party included BSU students and other locals in the area.

Many prominent people, including Vice President Mike Pence who was actually traveling to the city, issued a statement on the shooting. Pence commended local first responders and sent his prayers to the victims and their families.
