Love is in the air for world-famous tennis star Serena Williams and new husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The two of them were married on Thursday, November 17.

The ceremony took place at the Contemporary Arts Center. The entire wedding was Beauty and the Beast themed and many family and friends took part in the celebration.

Reportedly, the guest list was filled with dozens of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Jay Z, Vogue editor Ann Wintour, Eva Longoria, and Kelly Rowland. Of course, Serena’s athlete sister, Venus Williams, was there as well.

Guests were asked to dress according to the Beauty and the Beast theme. As they entered the venue, they were greeted with the song, “Be Our Guest.” During the reception, the band “New Edition” played a five-song set.

According to the Daily Mail, Serena had one dress for the ceremony and another one for the reception. Cellphones were banned from the ceremony, but the wedding will be featured in Vogue magazine, as they had an exclusive on images.

Each table at the wedding was named after one of the athlete’s 12 grand slam titles. The party favors were recreations of the golden trophies that she had earned with each corresponding title.

The tennis star and entrepreneur began dating in 2015. They got engaged in December of 2016, and now, almost a year later, are happily wed! Earlier this year, Serena talked in poem form about how Alexis popped the big question.

She said, “I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome, To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table, we first met by chance. But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”

Congrats to the happy couple on their new marriage! Share your congrats on Facebook. In other recent news, a Super Bowl champion just died from a major heart attack at only 42 years old.
