In December, we warned you about a problem with children's ibuprofen that could cause extreme sickness, especially in infants. Now, that recall has been expanded, reported ABC.

On December 6, the FDA announced that Tris Pharma's Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, which is sold at Walmart, CVS, and Family Dollar, had higher concentrations than listed.

The FDA issued an expanded recall of infants' oral ibuprofen solution because it may have potentially higher concentrations of ibuprofen than labeled.

Ibuprofen is typically used as a product for pain relief or to reduce fevers. However, it is now unsafe to take. According to the recall, infants could potentially be vulnerable to a permanent NSAID related injury

Children who take this recalled drug could potentially see dangerous side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or epigastric pain. Additionally, headaches, gastrointestinal bleeding, and tinnitus are also possible side effects.
