The world was anxiously waiting for an update concerning the health status of the First Lady. It was reported last week that Melania Trump had been hospitalized following a kidney procedure.
We have since learned that the First Lady underwent an embolization procedure. The procedure was successfully done in order to treat a benign kidney mass. She remained hospitalized for multiple days following the procedure.
However, a major update has just been reported about Melania. She has officially left the hospital and returned to the White House. She is said to be in "high spirits" following her release from the hospital.
"Trump, who spent five nights at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, was 'resting comfortably,' Stephanie Grisham, the first lady's communications director, said in a statement,'" reported the Chicago Tribune.
The President took to social media to comment on the news and to also welcome his wife home. He thanked the countless supporters who have prayed for Melania and offered her well-wishes.
"Great to have our incredible First Lady back home in the White House. Melania is feeling and doing really well. Thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes!" he wrote.
At this time, no further procedures have been publicly reported to be planned for the First Lady. Please join us in continuing to pray for her full recovery.
