Liberals are no longer hiding their clear agendas, and it's because they feel that they're in the majority now and are on the right side of history, especially with LGBT "acceptance."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, GLADD, which formerly stood for Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, says Hollywood is not doing nearly enough to promote homosexual lifestyles.
GLAAD president Sarah Kate Ellis said, "Too often, the few LGBT characters that make it to the big screen are the target of a punchline or token characters. The film industry must embrace new and inclusive stories if it wants to remain competitive and relevant."
A GLAAD report on how movies studios are doing in positively portraying transgender characters focused on Disney, which they said could easily add gay characters as mainstays of its new "Star Wars" franchise.
The Media Research Center's Matt Philibin's says GLAAD's pressure on Disney in general is especially concerning.
Philibin said, "They're talking about Disney's bread and butter. They're talking about kids' movies and they're talking about normalizing homosexuality for children as young as 3 or 4 years old in such a way that, yes, this becomes something they see on the screen, something that they are told by the media is normal, everyday behavior."
Disney is already facing mounting pressure from a #GiveElsaAGirlfriend Twitter campaign seeking to have "Frozen" main character Elsa portrayed as a lesbian in the upcoming sequel.
